Know before you buy
Quick answers about the N6PRO, and how it compares.
How is a mirror dashcam different?
It fits over or replaces the rear-view mirror, so there is nothing extra on the windscreen. The wide screen shows the rear camera, which gives a clearer view behind than a normal mirror, especially with passengers or luggage in the back.
N6 Pro or K5 (2CH)?
Both record 2K front and 1080P rear and take voice commands. The N6 Pro adds the big 9.35 inch mirror screen, GPS and reversing assistance; the K5 (2CH) is a compact windscreen camera at a lower price.
Can it keep watch while the car is parked?
Yes, with a hardwire kit (buck line) connected to the car's fuse box. The kit keeps the camera powered with the ignition off, and it records when the parked car is bumped. It also protects the car battery by cutting power before the battery runs low. Some models include the kit, others take it as an optional accessory; the Key specs of each model say which.
What happens to the video if there is an accident?
The built-in G-sensor feels a crash, hard braking or a strong jolt and saves that clip as a locked event file. Normal recording loops and overwrites the oldest footage when the card is full, but locked clips are kept, so the evidence is still there when you need it.
Where can I buy it with warranty and support in Pakistan?
ESCO supplies Hikvision dashcams across Pakistan from esco.pk with a 1-year warranty and local after-sales support. Dashcams are simple to fit yourself, and any car accessories or service shop can install one; ESCO also offers installation in the cities where we operate.
