Quick answers about the CCSD-CURD, and how it compares.
What is the CCS 1000 D?
A Bosch discussion system for meeting rooms, boardrooms and councils. One control unit, one microphone device per seat, cables from one device to the next. Plug and play: no training, no programming.
What do I need for a system?
A control unit (CCSD-CURD). One discussion device per seat: tabletop CCSD-DL2 or DS2, or flush-mounted CCSD-FDL and CCSD-FCML. For more than 80 seats, add a CCSD-EXU extension unit. Optional: the Unear V51X camera that follows the speaker.
Does the camera follow the speaker?
Yes. With the optional Unear V51X network camera, the control unit steers the camera over the network to the seat whose microphone is on. When the microphone goes off, the camera returns to the room view. No operator is needed.
Can it work with Teams or Zoom?
Yes. The control unit sends the microphone sound to your video conferencing system and plays the far end through the device loudspeakers. The Unear V51X is a network camera; its HDMI or USB output goes to the meeting PC or codec, so the far end sees who is speaking.
What does the recorder do?
It records the meeting as MP3 files on the internal memory or on a USB stick. Files are split per hour with date and time. Four extra outputs record single microphones.
What is DAFS?
Feedback suppression: it stops the howling sound, so the loudspeakers can be loud enough for clear speech.
What can I connect to the control unit?
A wired or wireless guest microphone, a music source, a sound system, a recorder or video conferencing system, up to six cameras over the network, and a laptop or tablet for the web interface.
How do participants get the microphone?
Four ways, set on the control unit: press to speak, with a waiting list when all microphones are busy; override, where a new speaker takes over from the one speaking longest; voice activation; or push to talk. The chairperson always has priority.
