Know before you buy
Quick answers about the DS-2DF7A436IXG-EL, and how it compares.
How far can it see?
36x optical zoom (6 to 216 mm) brings distant scenes close without losing detail, unlike digital zoom. At night: illumination IR 300m.
How fast does it turn?
It pans at up to 550°/s and tilts at up to 300°/s (preset speed).
Does it follow a moving target?
Yes. With auto-tracking 3.0 the camera pans, tilts and zooms to keep a moving target in view.
Which alerts does it give?
Line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and exit, unattended baggage and object removal. Deep learning tells people from vehicles, so leaves, rain and animals raise fewer false alarms. It also captures faces (up to 30 at once). At checkpoints it can read licence plates.
How is it powered?
A Hi-PoE (802.3bt) switch port powers it over the network cable; a standard PoE or PoE+ port is not enough. Or use a 36 VDC power supply. See our PoE switches.
What else do I need?
A Hikvision NVR to record it, a switch port or power supply, a network cable and a wall or pole bracket. Tell us the site and our engineers send a free BOQ.
