Where can I use explosion-proof equipment?
Explosion-proof cameras are made for areas with flammable gas or dust, such as oil and gas sites, refineries, chemical plants, paint shops and grain stores. They are certified (ATEX and IECEx) so that a spark inside cannot set off the air outside. The cable must be protected too: we supply matching explosion-proof conduits.
What is Smart Hybrid Light?
The camera has two lights. In the dark it uses invisible IR and records in black and white. When it detects a person or vehicle, it turns on white light and records in colour. You can also set it to IR only or white light only.
What happens to my recordings if a hard disk fails or the NVR is stolen?
With a microSD card in the camera, the last days of video stay inside the camera, even if the hard disk fails or thieves take the NVR. If the network drops, the camera records to the card and the NVR copies the gap back later. On the NVR side, RAID models (86xx, 96xx) lose nothing when one disk fails; other NVRs lose only the video on the failed disk.
