Know before you buy
Quick answers about the DS-D41Q12CA-1GS, and how it compares.
How many modules do I need?
Divide the screen width by 0.32 m and the height by 0.16 m. For example, a 3.2 m × 1.92 m screen takes 10 × 12 = 120 modules, 2560 × 1536 pixels (3.93 MP). Our engineers size it for your wall and add the receiving cards, power supplies and controller.
What else does an LED screen need?
Receiving cards (HUB320), 5 V power supplies, an LED controller, a steel frame with magnetic screws, power and network cabling, and installation. See What you need above; our engineers prepare the full BOQ.
Can it be used outdoors?
No, it is an indoor module (600 cd/m², IP30). For outdoor screens use our outdoor LED modules, P3 to P8, IP65 front.
What is the best viewing distance?
Hikvision gives an optimal viewing distance of 1.6 m to 4.2 m for this module.
How much power does it use?
Up to 450 W/m² and about 150 W/m² on average (Hikvision figures). Our engineers size the power and the cabling for the whole screen.
