How does lift (elevator) access control work?
A reader inside the lift car asks for a card, fingerprint or face. The DS-K2210 master controller checks the person and tells the DS-K2M0016A relay boards which floor buttons to enable, so a tenant reaches only their own floor and a visitor only the lobby. Each relay board handles 16 floors, up to 128 floors per master. The fire alarm input releases every floor. It is managed in HikCentral together with the doors, so one card works for the gate, the door and the lift. Installation needs the lift company to wire the car panel; Ask us and we coordinate it.
