What does an access controller do?

The access controller is the brain at the door. Card readers, locks, exit buttons and door sensors connect to it, and it decides who may open each door and when. Cards and events are stored on the controller, so doors keep working even if the network is down. Connect it over the network to manage users and see events from one place. What is a card enrollment station for?

It sits on the admin desk and connects to the PC by USB. When you add a new user, you tap their card on it and the card number goes straight into the access control software, so nobody has to type long card numbers by hand or walk to a door reader. It reads both 13.56 MHz (M1, CPU) and 125 kHz (EM) cards.
