Quick answers about the DS-TME200-D, and how it compares.
How does UHF vehicle access work?
A UHF sticker tag goes on the inside of the car windscreen. A UHF reader at the gate reads it from several metres away as the car comes in, and the entrance and exit controller checks the tag against the allowed list and opens the barrier. Residents and staff drive in without stopping, swiping a card or opening the window. Ask us to plan your gate.
Which barrier gate speed and boom length do I need?
Choose by lane width and traffic. The 520 series comes in three versions: -H with a 3 m boom that opens in about 0.9 s, for busy entrances; -M with a 4 m boom, about 1.5 s; and -L with a 5 to 6 m boom, about 4 s, for wide lanes. For safety add an anti-fall radar or loop so the boom never comes down on a car, and use ANPR cameras or UHF readers to open it automatically. Ask us to plan your gate.
