Which barrier gate speed and boom length do I need?
Choose by lane width and traffic. The 520 series comes in three versions: -H with a 3 m boom that opens in about 0.9 s, for busy entrances; -M with a 4 m boom, about 1.5 s; and -L with a 5 to 6 m boom, about 4 s, for wide lanes. For safety add an anti-fall radar or loop so the boom never comes down on a car, and use ANPR cameras or UHF readers to open it automatically. Ask us to plan your gate.

Which boom length do I need?
Measure the clear lane width the boom must cover; the boom should be about that length, never longer than the barrier model allows. Straight booms suit open lanes, telescopic booms adjust to the lane, folding booms are for low ceilings such as basements. Add the boom that matches your barrier body (the M or L body takes different booms).
