Pre-Wired for Effortless Installation
Planning ahead saves time and money. With the EVID-S8.2TW, you don't need to wait until construction is finished to prep for audio — the wall mounting bracket and wiring terminal can be installed and wired during the construction or renovation phase, then simply capped and left flush in the wall. Once the space is finished — painted, furnished, ready to open — mounting the actual speaker takes just three simple steps and a few minutes per unit.
Step 1 — Mount the Wall Bracket & Connect Wiring
Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using standard fasteners, then connect your speaker wiring to the exposed terminal block. This step can be done early in the construction process, well before the speaker itself is installed — ideal for coordinating with electricians and contractors before walls are finished.
Step 2 — Protect the Terminal with the Included Cover
Once wiring is connected, snap the clear protective terminal cover into place over the connection points. This shields the wiring from dust and damage during the remaining construction or finishing work, and keeps the installation point clean and ready until you're set to mount the speaker.
Step 3 — Attach the Speaker Cabinet
When the space is ready, simply align the EVID-S8.2TW cabinet with the pre-installed bracket and press it firmly into place — no additional wiring, drilling, or hardware needed at this stage. The speaker locks securely onto the bracket, giving you a clean, professional installation in seconds.
