How do people get through?
By card (the M pedestals have a Mifare reader), by face with a Hikvision face terminal on the Pg pedestals (bought separately), or by QR code. The access controller is built in and stores 500,000 cards.
Which pedestals do I need?
One L (left end) and one R (right end) for the first lane, then one M (middle) for every extra lane: 1 lane = L + R, 2 lanes = L + M + R, 3 lanes = L + M + M + R.
How wide can the lane be?
Hikvision configures this series for 650, 750, 900 or 1100 mm lanes; 650 mm is the recommended width. Tell us your lane width and we confirm the set.
How does it stop tailgating?
6 pairs of IR detectors check each passage. If a person is let in but does not pass in time, the valid passing duration cancels the permission.
What happens in a fire alarm or power cut?
The barrier opens automatically in both cases, so people can leave.
What if the wing touches someone?
When it detects an obstruction while opening or closing, the barrier stops for a while. It also runs self-diagnostics and raises an alarm on faults.
Can it go outdoors?
Yes. Hikvision rates it for indoor and outdoor use, -20 to 65 °C. Clean the stainless steel every month (every week near the sea or chemical plants).
How many people can pass per minute?
20 to 60 persons per minute, depending on how fast people authenticate and walk through.
