How is the content on a digital signage display managed?

Pictures, videos, notices and web pages are scheduled on the Hikvision signage platform or the HikCentral signage module, then pushed to every display or player box over the LAN, Wi-Fi or 4G. One playlist can go to all screens in a chain of shops, or each screen can have its own. The display stores the content, so it keeps playing if the network drops. Emergency messages can override the schedule on every screen at once.
