Quick answers about the DS-3WF0EC-5ACT, and how it compares.
How does an elevator wireless bridge work?
It replaces the video cable that would hang down the lift shaft. One unit goes on the lift car roof and connects to the lift camera; the other goes at the top or bottom of the shaft and connects to your network. They link over 5 GHz at up to 867 Mbps, up to 500 m (1,640 ft) apart, which covers very tall buildings. The bridge has PoE in and PoE out, so the lift camera can take its power from it.
