Yes. With the free Hik-Connect app you see the visitor, talk and open the door from your phone, at home or away.

What cable does it need?

A network cable (Cat5e or Cat6) to a switch. With a standard PoE switch the same cable powers it, so no adaptor is needed.

Can two homes share one gate?

Yes. It has 2 call buttons: one for each home, for example the ground floor and the first floor, or two flats on the same level. Each button rings its own indoor station, so each family answers and opens for its own visitors.

Can it open the door or gate?

Yes. It has 2 lock outputs, 2 exit button inputs and 2 door contact inputs; open by Mifare card, from either indoor station or the app.

Which indoor stations does it work with?
