Which Hikvision NVR line do I need?
Value Series (NI-Q): basic recording. AcuSense Pro K (NXI-K): AI for people and vehicles, perimeter and face recognition on a few cameras. AcuSense Pro I (NXI-I): AI on more channels. VPro: AcuSeek on most models, 2 AI engines on some. M Series 8K (NI-M): 8K output and more bandwidth for high-resolution cameras, no AI of its own: go for it when all cameras are already AcuSense. DeepinMind (iDS): AI on many channels. Super NVR (86 and 96): large sites, RAID.
Does this NVR have AI?
Not of its own. It records the AI events of AcuSense cameras (people and vehicle alerts, line crossing, intrusion) and gives more bandwidth for high-resolution cameras. Go for it when all your cameras are already AcuSense. For AI on normal cameras, choose an AcuSense Pro K or AcuSense Pro I NVR.
Does it come with a hard disk?
