Where does the LRC-1060-B fit?
The compact LRC column, 58 cm tall: speech and music in reverberant rooms with a normal ceiling height, such as mosque halls, classrooms, lobbies, corridors and small churches. The narrow 130° x 20° pattern sends the sound to the listeners, not to the floor and ceiling, so speech stays clear where a box speaker would echo. For bigger rooms and longer throw, LRC-1100-B.
How is it powered?
Built-in transformer with taps of 60, 30, 15, 8 and 4 W on 70 V, or 60, 30, 15 and 8 W on 100 V; or 8 ohm direct at 100 W continuous. EV's ASC circuit keeps the low end intact at the small taps.
Can it go outdoors?
Yes. IP56, rated by Electro-Voice for full outdoor exposure. A weather cover for the cable gland is in the box.
How is it installed, and what is in the box?
The SwifTilt bracket is included: flush to the wall, pan ±80° and down-tilt from 0° to 25° in steps, inverted mounting possible, cable hidden behind the column. In the box: tilt bracket, pan bracket, gland weather cover, Allen/TR20 key and an M8 eyebolt. Two M8 points for suspension. The 4-pin Euroblock has an input and a pass-through, so columns daisy-chain on one line.
Is it certified for voice alarm use?
Yes, EN54-24 certified, so it can be used as the loudspeaker on an EN54 voice alarm system.
