Overview
During a fire, ceiling cavities can allow flames to spread rapidly throughout a building. The LBC 3081/02 Steel Fire Dome is designed to prevent fire from entering the ceiling cavity through the loudspeaker opening, helping to improve overall building fire safety.
📝 Description
This optional steel fire dome is installed by clicking it into the loudspeaker mounting ring using three integrated leaf springs before inserting the loudspeaker.
For added convenience, a built-in safety cord allows the installer to temporarily hang the loudspeaker during installation. After installation, the cord continues to provide additional reassurance.
The fire dome is provided with knockout holes for two supplied grommets and two PG13 cable glands, allowing secure and flexible cable entry.
