Bosch CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System
Everything you need to know about CCSD-DL or CCSD-DS.
Both are discussion devices for the Bosch CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System, with the same elegant, highly stable casing, built-in loudspeaker, indicators and headphone socket. The only difference is the microphone stem length. The CCSD-DS has a short-stem microphone of 310 mm (12.2 in), which suits compact tables and close seating. The CCSD-DL has a long-stem microphone of 480 mm (18.9 in), which brings the microphone closer to delegates on larger tables or seated further back. Both stems are flexible, so each user can adjust the microphone to a comfortable position.
Yes. The modular single- or dual-button configuration lets the same device work as either a chairperson device or a participant device. This makes planning simpler and reduces the number of different units you need to keep in stock.
Color-coded LEDs above the microphone button and a light ring in the microphone head show each state. White means it's possible to speak. Green means the request to speak has been added to the waiting list, and it flashes when that request is first in line. Red means the microphone is on.
The Bosch microphone on a flexible stem adjusts easily to each user and delivers excellent speech intelligibility. Each device has a built-in loudspeaker whose volume is controlled centrally from the Control Unit for consistent audibility. A built-in stereo headphone socket with a rotary thumbwheel for volume lets delegates hear the speaker clearly even with heavy background noise.
Yes. The CCS 1000 D is plug-and-play, so integrators and technicians can set it up quickly without complex configuration. The system runs from the CCSD-CURD control unit, which supports up to 80 participants. For larger rooms you can add the CCSD-EXU extension unit, and you can also connect an optional camera to show the active speaker automatically.

Possible-to-Speak Indication
A white possible-to-speak indicator above the microphone button indicates when to activate a microphone.
Built‑in Volume control for headphones
For maximum comfort, the volume of the headphones can be adjusted on the side of the discussion device using a rotary thumbwheel.
Request‑to‑Speak Indication
A green request‑to‑speak indicator above the microphone button and in the head of the microphone indicate when a request‑to‑speak has been added to the waiting list. The indicators flash green when the request‑to‑speak is first in the waiting list.
Microphone with Flexible Stem
The fixed microphone with a flexible stem can be easily adjusted to suit the user.
Built-in Loudspeaker with Volume Control
The volume of the Loudspeaker of all Discussion Devices is centrally controlled from the Control Unit to ensure optimized audibility.
Headphones socket
The built‑in stereo headphone socket enables the speaker to be heard, even when there is excessive background noise.
