Know before you buy
Quick answers about the LBC1400/10 12W Power-save, and how it compares.
How does the volume control work in an emergency?
Each Bosch volume control has a built-in 24 VDC override relay. In an emergency call the system switches the relay, so the message plays at the preset level whatever the local volume setting (4-wire override).
- /10, power-save: the relay is activated during the emergency call.
- /20, failsafe: the relay is deactivated during the emergency call.
The relay draws 20 mA at 24 VDC.

Add up the power taps of the loudspeakers on the control; the total must not exceed its maximum load. The LM1-SMB-MK surface box (ask us) fits the LBC1400 and LBC1410.
What do the power taps mean?
Each loudspeaker can be set to one of its power taps, for example 6 / 3 W. Choose a lower tap for small or quiet areas and a higher tap for large or noisy ones. Add up the taps of every loudspeaker on a line: the amplifier must deliver at least that total.
Many 6 W ceiling loudspeakers are tapped down to 3 W, 1.5 W or 0.75 W in the field; in smaller or low-noise areas 3 W is more than enough.
Who supplies Bosch loudspeakers in Pakistan, and what warranty do I get?
Electronic Security Company (ESCO) is the only authorized distributor of Bosch, Dynacord and Electro-Voice in Pakistan, so every Bosch loudspeaker is genuine and comes with a 3-year warranty. Warranty is carry-in: bring the unit to an ESCO office and after inspection it is repaired or replaced as needed.
We supply, design and install public address and voice alarm systems, with offices and stock in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi and dealers across Pakistan.
