Which amplifiers does the UCS-1 work with?
The Dynacord U Series mixer amplifiers: U60:1M-EU, U120:1M-EU and U240:1M-EU. Connect it to the 5-pin Euroblock of MIC 1; the amplifier powers it and plays the chime.
What does the button do?
Push-to-talk: pressing it switches the microphone on, lights the green LED and sends a priority signal so the announcement overrides the music.
Is it the same as the Bosch PLE-1CS?
It does the same job on the U Series: the UCS-1 is the current Dynacord model and the Bosch PLE-1CS is its alternative.
How is it connected and powered?
A 2 m cable with a lockable 5-pin Euroblock (3-pin if no priority signal is needed). Phantom power 12 to 48 V comes from the amplifier, so no power supply is needed.

The V Series is made for paging plus background and foreground music. In a building that needs a voice alarm it can run music and paging day to day while PLENA VAS, PAVIRO or PRAESENSA takes over every zone through its EMG input in an emergency.
Who supplies Dynacord in Pakistan, and what warranty do I get?
Electronic Security Company (ESCO) is the only authorized distributor of Bosch, Dynacord and Electro-Voice in Pakistan, so every Dynacord product we supply is genuine and comes with a 3-year warranty. Warranty is carry-in: bring the unit to an ESCO office and after inspection it is repaired or replaced as needed. We help with system design and installation.
