You can enter a passcode on the keypad, use a temporary visitor code, or unlock remotely from the EZVIZ app. The lock stores up to 50 passcodes of 6–10 digits each. Temporary codes can stay valid for up to a year, which suits deliveries, house sitters or regular helpers. You can grant or remove anyone's access in the app with a few taps.

No. The DL03 connects directly to your home 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so there's no extra hub to buy. Once it's paired, you can check the lock status, unlock remotely, add users and get real-time notifications from anywhere in the EZVIZ app.

Yes. The DL03 is a rim lock designed for easy DIY installation. Shims are included so you can adjust the inside panel and make sure the latch bolt lines up properly with the strike plate. It has an aluminium and plastic body and works from −25°C to 55°C.

It locks itself automatically whenever you close the door, checks whether the door is open or closed, and alerts you if the door is left open. A loud siren sounds if someone tries to remove the lock by force. After five wrong passcodes within five minutes, the keypad locks for three minutes. Anti-peeping codes let you hide your real passcode among extra digits, and privacy mode can be turned on in the app.

It runs on 4 AA alkaline batteries, which are easy to replace, and the app warns you when they're getting low. If they run flat, you can power the lock temporarily through its Type-C emergency port to get in.
