The Dynacord VZX-8 brings audio routing, processing, playback and system control together for commercial zone audio installations.
The Dynacord VZX-8 sits at the center of a V Series zone audio system. Audio sources connect to the processor, where signals can be mixed, processed and assigned to the required zones. Compatible VCS-8 call stations add paging control, while VWP wall panels give users local access to functions such as level, source and zone selection. The VZX-8’s dedicated RJ45 line outputs provide a connection to V Series amplifiers. Design the combination of components around the needs of each installation.

Application: Mosque Audio System
In a mosque, the VZX-8 brings every prayer space under one compact processor: the main hall, the ladies' section, the outdoor prayer area, walkways, ablution areas and the minaret. Its built-in automixer (AMM) brings up only the mic in use between the imam, khateeb and muezzin, while AGC keeps each voice at a steady level.
The azan can reach the minaret horns and every indoor zone at once, and wall panels let caretakers set each area's level without touching the rack. Full-matrix DSP replaces separate mixers and processors, keeping recitation and khutbah clear even in large, echo-prone halls.

Rack Installation and Ventilation
The Dynacord VZX-8 fits standard 19-inch racks or cases using the supplied rack ears. Allow access to rear connections and maintain clear ventilation around the processor for reliable operation.
Included Rack Ears
Supplied rack ears support installation in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. Rack-fixing screws and washers are not included.
Rear Airflow Clearance
Dynacord recommends an air duct of at least 50 mm between the rear panel and the cabinet or rack-case wall, extending to the top ventilation openings.
Operating Environment
Keep ventilation openings clear and install within the specified ambient temperature range of 5–40 °C.
