Restaurants & Bars
Restaurants and bars run multiple distinct zones at once — main dining, bar area, host stand, kitchen, restrooms, and sometimes a live music corner — each needing independent volume control and the occasional live announcement without disrupting the rest of the venue. The VCS-8 lets staff page a single zone (last call at the bar, a reservation callout at the host stand) or reach the entire venue at once, with busy indication and mutual exclusion keeping multiple call stations from talking over each other during a rush.

What does the VCS-8 do?

Bus powered from the VZX-8 over RJ45, daisy-chained in / out: up to 8 per VZX-8, 500 m per port.
How does a V Series system fit together?
The VZX-8 is the brain: 20 sources, 8 zones, DSP, scheduled messages and a browser Web App. Its two RJ45 outputs carry zones 1-4 and 5-8 to V600:4 or V600:2 amplifiers, one cable each. VCS-8 call stations and VWP-EU wall panels daisy-chain on its two accessory ports: bus powered, up to 500 m per port, 16 devices in total, at most 8 call stations.
