Know before you buy
Quick answers about the DCNM-WLIION2, and how it compares.
How long does a charge last?
Up to 24 hours on a DCNM-WD and 20 hours on a DCNM-WDE from a full charge. From empty it takes about three hours to charge fully in the DCNM-WCH05, which leaves plenty of room to plan recharges.
How do I check the charge?
Press the test button on the pack: five LEDs show the remaining capacity. During a meeting the access point web interface shows the battery status of every seat.
How should spare packs be kept?
Store them between -5 and 35 °C, and use them between 5 and 40 °C, below 75% humidity (non-condensing). Packs can stay in the DCNM-WCH05 when full: this does not affect their charge or lifetime.
What do I need for a DICENTIS Wireless system?
DICENTIS Wireless runs stand-alone, with no central control unit. You need:
- One DCNM-WAP access point: controls up to 120 DICENTIS devices. You set up and run the meeting from its web browser interface on a tablet or laptop.
- A wireless device per seat: DCNM-WD for discussion, or DCNM-WDE with a touch screen and NFC reader.
- A microphone per device: DCNM-HDMIC, DCNM-MICS or DCNM-MICL.
- A battery pack per device: DCNM-WLIION2, charged five at a time in the DCNM-WCH05.
- Optional licenses for dual use, identification, voting and camera control.
Typical coverage is 30 x 30 m per access point. A second WAP can be set up as a secondary access point for redundancy and meeting continuity.
Who supplies Bosch DICENTIS in Pakistan, and what warranty do I get?
Electronic Security Company (ESCO) is the only authorized distributor of Bosch, Dynacord and Electro-Voice in Pakistan, so every DICENTIS product is genuine and comes with a 3-year warranty. Warranty is carry-in: bring the unit to an ESCO office and after inspection it is repaired or replaced as needed.
We supply, design and install complete conference and voting systems for parliaments, government offices, boardrooms and auditoriums, with after-sales service nationwide. Prices are quoted per project: tell us your room and number of seats and we will send a quote.
