Bosch DICENTIS DCNM-FSLP Flush Language Selector Panel
The DICENTIS DCNM-FSLP is a flush-mount language selector panel that lets participants listen to the speaker or interpreter in their preferred language through headphones. It supports up to 100 languages, shown in their native characters, as ISO abbreviations, or as language numbers. That makes it ideal for parliaments, international conferences, and multilingual meeting rooms.
Language selection starts automatically when headphones are plugged in. If a participant has a preferred language set in the system, it's selected for them. Illuminated touch buttons let participants scroll through languages and adjust headphone volume. The display switches off when no headphones are connected or after about 8 seconds without use, saving energy and keeping the meeting room free of distractions.

Simple Two-Cable Installation
The DCNM-FSLP connects to the DCNM-FBD2 flush base device with just two cables, both included in the box:
- Control connection (RJ12): The 30 cm RJ12 cable runs from the panel's control port to the DCNM-FBD2. It carries data, power and language information over the DICENTIS system.
- Audio connection (headphone): The headphone connection cable links the panel's headphone port to the DCNM-FBD2's headphone output. It delivers the selected interpretation channel to the participant's headphones.
- Each DCNM-FBD2 supports one DCNM-FSLP per side, so a single base device can serve two participants sitting side by side.
Enhanced User Experience
High-quality loudspeakers and microphones deliver clear audio, even when active together. Shock-mount design reduces noise, while identification secures voting. Language selection is automated for participant convenience.
Easy Integration
Flush modules work seamlessly with DICENTIS tabletop devices and the interpreter desk. Settings are adopted instantly without restart, while the server-based system supports third-party apps, cloud services, and remote maintenance.
Easy, Cost-Effective Installation
The DICENTIS Flush Range offers a modular design for any meeting type. It supports future upgrades, uses existing IP and PoE, and installs quickly with a click-to-fit mechanism. Sharing the Bosch DCN footprint, it allows easy replacement. Dual-seat setups can host up to four delegates, saving space and cost.
Versatile Microphone Options
Compact flush microphones fit where space is limited. The audio interface connects third-party microphones, supports extra inputs, and provides 48 V phantom power.

Know before you buy
Quick answers about the DCNM-FSLP, and how it compares.
How does a participant pick a language?
Plug in the headphones and the display turns on. Scroll through up to 100 languages, shown in native characters, as ISO abbreviations or as numbers, and set the volume with the lit touch buttons. If a preferred language is set for the participant, it is selected automatically.
The display turns off after about 8 seconds without use, and when no headphones are connected. To prevent feedback, the volume is turned down while the participant is speaking.
Does the DCNM-FSLP work on its own?
No. It connects to the DCNM-FBD2 over RJ12 for data and through the FBD2 headphone connection for audio, one FSLP per side of the FBD2. The 30 cm cable and the headphone cable are included. For a language selector without a base device, see the stand-alone DCNM-FSL and FSL2 below.
Which headphones can I use?
Any headphones with a 3.5 mm stereo jack and at least 32 ohm (65 mW output). External headphone sockets can also be connected by soldering or a connector. Bosch headphones for DICENTIS are listed below.
Do DICENTIS Flush panels need a software license?
On the wired DICENTIS system, a Flush seat does basic discussion without a license once the system is registered: microphone, request to speak, loudspeaker, and dual use on the DCNM-FBD2.
These panels need a Premium or Ultimate license for each participant:
Order Premium DCNM-LPP-PE or Ultimate DCNM-LPU-PE, one license per participant; a dual use seat counts as two.
What else do I need for a flush-mounted seat?
A DICENTIS Flush seat is built around the DCNM-FBD2 flush base device, fitted under the table or seat, in an armrest, on a wall or in a cable duct. Pick the panels the seat needs and cable them to the FBD2:
- Microphone: DCNM-FMCP connection panel with a DCNM-MICSLS (310 mm) or DCNM-MICSLL (480 mm) screw-lock microphone, plus a DCNM-FMICB microphone button or DCNM-FPRIOB priority button. The button panel also powers the FMCP.
- Loudspeaker: DCNM-FLSP.
- Language selection: DCNM-FSLP and headphones.
- Voting: DCNM-FVP.
- Identification: DCNM-FIDP with the DCNM-FICH card holder (ask us).
- No space on the table: DCNM-FHHC handheld microphone through a DCNM-FAI flush audio interface (ask us).
In dual use, one FBD2 serves up to four participants, two sharing each microphone and loudspeaker. For mounting, add DCN-FCOUP couplings, DCNM-FEC end caps and DCNM-FPT positioning tools. The FBD2 joins the system with DICENTIS system cables, powered from the DCNM-APS2 or DCNM-PS2.
How are DICENTIS Flush panels mounted?
Every panel clicks into a 2 mm metal panel. In wood or any other surface, fit them with DCN-FCOUP flush couplings and finish both ends of the row with DCNM-FEC end caps (set of 50). DCNM-FPT positioning tools help place the couplings and include a template for the loudspeaker cut-out.
DICENTIS Flush uses the same installation footprint as Bosch DCN Flush devices (except the loudspeaker panel), so an older DCN Flush installation can be replaced without major rework.
Which other DICENTIS Flush parts can ESCO supply?
These are not in our online shop yet. Ask us for a quote:
- DCNM-FIDP identification panel: NFC card reader that reads cards 0 to 1 cm away, so nobody logs in by accident. Up to four per DCNM-FBD2 in dual use.
- DCNM-FICH ID card holder (pack of 25): keeps the card next to the FIDP, so the participant stays logged in while the card is parked and is logged out when it is removed. It takes the place of the end cap on that side.
- DCNM-FAI flush audio interface: connects one third-party microphone or line-level source to the FBD2: balanced or unbalanced, 48 V phantom power, gain 0 to 18 dB, with a contact input for a custom microphone button. It also takes two DCNM-FMCP panels for a rostrum position. The DCNM-FHHC (coiled) and DCNM-FHH (straight 1.5 m cable) handheld microphones connect through it; two FAI give two handhelds per FBD2.
- DCNM-FSL and DCNM-FSL2 flush language selectors: like the DCNM-FSLP, but stand-alone: each connects to a PoE switch with its own network cable, so no FBD2 is needed. The FSL2 can also be daisy-chained.
- DCNM-FET flush extraction tools.
- Headphones: LBB3443/00 and LBB3443/10 lightweight headphones, HDP-LWN neckband headphones and the HDP-ILN induction loop neckband.
