Bosch DICENTIS DCNM-MICSC Short Stem Cardioid Microphone
The DICENTIS DCNM-MICSC is a stylish, ergonomically designed conference microphone on a 310 mm adjustable stem. Its cardioid (unidirectional) pickup focuses on the speaker's voice and rejects surrounding sound, giving clear speech even in noisy conditions or acoustically challenging rooms such as parliaments, council chambers and large boardrooms.
A built-in pop and windshield reduces breath noise and plosives. It has low susceptibility to mobile phone interference, so meetings stay free of buzzing and clicks. A red and green illuminator shows participants when their microphone is live or their request to speak has been accepted, and a screw-locked 12-pin connector keeps it securely fixed to the DCNM-MMFF or MMDOCK.

Where is the DCNM-MICSC used?

Cardioid or wide cardioid?
A cardioid microphone (DCNM-MICSC, DCNM-MICLC) picks up a tighter area in front of it, so it rejects more room noise. Choose it for noisy rooms or seats close together.
A wide cardioid microphone (DCNM-MICSWC, DCNM-MICLWC) covers a wider angle, so speakers can turn their head or shift in their seat and still be heard clearly. It also takes louder voices (120 vs 115 dB SPL), with slightly higher self-noise (20 vs 15 dB SPL).

Why choose a screw-lock microphone?
A knurled ring screws the microphone onto its panel by hand, with no tools. Once tightened it cannot be pulled out or knocked loose, which suits permanent installations such as council chambers, parliaments and public meeting rooms. To remove it, unscrew the ring and lift the microphone straight out.
Will it work in a noisy or echoey room?
Yes. Bosch designed the DICENTIS stem microphones for acoustically challenging rooms: the directional pickup focuses on the speaker, the built-in plop and windshield cuts breath noise, and they have low susceptibility to mobile phones, so no buzzing when a phone is on the desk.
What do the red and green lights mean?
The light on the microphone head shows your status: red means the microphone is on and you are live; green means your request to speak has been accepted and you are next.
Who supplies Bosch DICENTIS in Pakistan, and what warranty do I get?
